TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Orders
All orders are accepted subject to supplies being available, prices ruling on the day of delivery and any Government or any other regulations that may be introduced. Acceptance of your order is conditional on acceptance of the following conditions. No variations to these conditions shall be valid unless accepted by a director of this company in writing.
We will not sell wine to anyone who is not 18 years of age or older.


Prices
The Company reserves the right to vary its prices appropriately upon any changes of rates of duty or increases imposed by suppliers of goods to this Company or any other commercial reasons, without notice.
We accept payment by Switch, Visa, Mastercard and cash or cheque in advance. However, supply may be delayed subject to clearance of a cheque. Cheques should be crossed and made payeable to: John Stephenson & Sons (Nelson) Ltd, wherever possible please write your order number and address on the reverse side of the cheque. All cheques should be sent FAO Mrs A Atkinson, John Stephenson & Sons, Darwil House, Bradley Hall Road, Nelson, Lancashire BB9 8HF.

VAT
Trade prices and discounts are quoted inclusive of Vat. The tax point is the date of invoice.

Claims
All goods must be fully examined at the time of delivery, and shall be the purchasers risk as soon as they are delivered to the purchaser by the Company. On arrival, any goods found short, damaged or broken must be recorded in such on the delivery note and signed for accordingly. Claims cannot be accepted unless they are received by the credit control department, within 48 hours of delivery. Any liability of the seller in respect of defective goods shall continue only for three months from the date of delivery and shall be strictly limited at the sellers option to the supply of replacement goods or damages not exceeding the cost of the original goods. No goods can be returned for any reason unless prior arrangements have been made with a representative of the Company.

Returns / Refunds

When agreed, goods must be returned within 14 days from receipt of purchase and in the same condition as when received by yourselves (The Customer). Return Postage must be paid by the Customer, and on receipt of returned goods we will then exchange or refund. Refunds will be credited to the original payment Debit / Credit card. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Property
Property in the goods shall not pass to the purchaser until such time as the goods have been paid for by the purchaser. Stock delivered by the Company will remain identifiably its property until such time as payment is effected. If the Buyer purports to sell the goods or any part of them before payment has been made to the company in full, the Buyer shall hold the proceeds thereof as Trustee for the Company.

Delivery
We shall make every endeavour to deliver on any date promised, but no liability is accepted for failure to do so. Charge is £10 per case. Please phone for costs for large orders.

Force Majeure
The company will not be responsible for any action by person or persons outside their control.

Data Protection and Privacy.
By providing your details to our website, you consent to us holding the details you provide for the purpose of maintaining, recording, holding and using the information. We take your privacy very seriously and will only use your details to send out information from the company or from third parties when you have agreed for us to do this.
